Job Description
To design code test debug and maintain programs in development environments. Apply agreed standards and tools to achieve a wellengineers result. Work within a strict framework of programming standards under supervision of senior technical resources.
- Adhere to application lifecycle management accountabilities architectural platforms and guardrails and ensure that all activity is digitally recorded and tracked to enhance reporting to support process review and improvement and to maintain an audit ready posture.
- Adopt and adhere to suitable and agreed development methodologies and principles through work outputs and behaviours that enables continuous delivery and development across the production environment as well as ensuring effective collaboration with all colleagues and stakeholders in order to meet required targets and therefore deliver value to the customer.
- Coach or mentor less experienced Engineers on technical aspects of application development controls and documentation standards as well as on engaging effectively with relevant stakeholders.
- Construct interpret and execute moderate to complex end to end system and program tests to verify correct operation of completed systems.
Qualifications :
- First Degree Information Technology (Required)
- Post Graduate Degree Information Technology (Preferred)
Additional Information :
Experience Required: Software Engineering
57 years: Broad experience in translating business and functional requirements into technical specifications and developing the programming code to create the solutions.
810 years: Proven experience in modern engineering practices i.e. dev ops agile etc. Proven experience across multiple broad IT Engineering disciplines with demonstrated specialisation in at least one. Experience within the required scope of expertise.
