Job Description

The work location of this role is onsite meaning it will be performed in the New York City office on a fulltime basis due to the business needs of the team. 

LinkedIns Global Workplace Services organization is responsible for designing and delivering facilities and services that reflect LinkedIns culture to create an environment where people love to come to work interact with their colleagues and deliver exceptional results. We are looking for an exceptional individual that has experience leading workplace operations (inclusive of facility & property management food service office services physical security project management space management and events) in a highgrowth facility. The Workplace Site Manager New York City reports to the Sr. Manager of Workplace Operations AMER East and contributes to Workplace initiatives across the region.  

Responsibilities:  

  • Responsible for the development and delivery of all workplace services at LinkedInsNew York City NY location.  
  • Lead a wide range of programs including facility management space planning reception operations physical security catering operations events subtenancy and transportation through a distributed team of partners and personnel.  
  • Understand local teams business strategies and priorities and translate them to Workplace requirements that directly support the business with an objective to deliver necessary space and services proactively.  
  • Build and maintain meaningful business relationships with leadership and key stakeholders.  
  • Develop and manage operating budget; proactivelymanage variances and manage withinbudget parameters.  
  • Inspire LinkedIn teams to work together towards productive responsible utilization of space and resources that support LinkedIns business requirements mission and culture.  
  • Responsible for representing local priorities to internal Workplace partners collaborating with LinkedIns global design real estate and functional program teams to ensure strategies and programs are the right fit for Bellevue.  
  • Accountable for making guests and employees feel like the office is a unique welcoming and efficient place to work and visit.  
  • Liaise with IT HR Finance and Procurement to ensure that Workplace objectives are supported; operate as liaison for all Workplaceobjectives & commitmentslocally.  
  • Oversee the efficient delivery of services with a detailed focus on quality cost and timeliness; Lead various service partners and personnel to LinkedIns standards of excellence.  
  • Proactively identify and recommend opportunities that focus onbetter methods to achieve objectives which may include processefficiencies quality improvement risk mitigation cost improvementsand any other relevant factors that influence workplace effectiveness.  
  • Liaise with property management with clear communication and transparency on maintenance project needs vendors timelines and coordination.  
  • Implement standardized / best practice processes that create maximum efficiency.  
  • Proactively manage all maintenance work that affects our space; resolve issues in compliance with proper work methods and regulations.  
  • Coordinate Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) programs to ensure compliance and effective for emergency preparedness regulatory compliance and employee advocacy. 
  • Managead hoc project management and any associated duties as needed.  

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications:  

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in facilities management Corporate Real Estate Management Accounting/Finance or Business Administration or equivalent experience. 
  • 7 years of real estate management experience in a commercial highrise campus environment or property portfolio management experience.   
  • Experience with vendor management for facility and workplace related services. 
  • Experience working in an environment with shifting priorities and evolving workplace needs. 
  • Work in an office 5 days a week and able to travel/support within North America when necessary.

  • A history of managing complex rolling budgets within a 3 variance.   
  • Demonstrated experience as a leader concentrating on influencing others without authority.  
  • Experience directly managing full range of workplace services through expansion & growth.  
  • Strong background with building partnership and alignment with key stakeholders.  
  • Curious flexible strategic thinker who has created and evolvedworkplace programs.  
  • Proven ability todevelop and executecomplex projects and programs on schedule and on budget.  
  • A persuasive and credible communicator who can earn the trust of colleagues and business leaders.  
  • Excellent collaborator capable of working with others to find solutions to complex problems and leading teams towards shared goals with and without authority.  
  • Proficiency in creating and overseeing preventative/corrective maintenance programs.  
  • Exceptional negotiator who has experience withvarietiesof facilities contracts.  
  • Strongfinancialmanagement skills specifically budget planning accrual accounting andvariance reporting.  
  • Highly effective vendor management experience focused on providing timely effective highquality solutions.  
  • Able to understand and immerse oneself with the unique LinkedIn culture and ensure facilities plans are consistent with it.  
  • Superior written and oral communications skills and the ability to deal effectively with people.

The pay range for this role is $106000 to $172000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set depth of experience certifications and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
