Job Description
Link Solutions is seeking a PC Systems Specialist to join our Fort Leavenworth Kansas team.
- Must be a US Citizen
- DoD Secret Clearance required
- Nonremote (relocation incentive available)
The PC Systems Specialist will support the US Army Corrections Command (ACC) Army Corrections Brigade (ACB) G6 at Fort Leavenworth. The Specialist will provide various computer hardware and software services to end users ensuring the seamless operation of our government IT systems.

Job Responsibilities:
- Provides help desk information and support: Determines the cause of the problem and offers temporary solutions if the problem cannot be resolved within an appropriate timeframe.
- Installs sets up relocates configures troubleshoots and supports PC/server hardware and software: Installs and configures software upgrades; configures and performs tuning of operating systems.
- Oversees support tickets for Training Management Directorate (TMD) users.
- Reports directly to Senior Leadership regarding ongoing projects and tasks.
- Directs and leads multiple projects including planning design organization and implementation while providing subject matter expertise and technical guidance.
- Coordinates support with the local Network Enterprise Center.
- Responds to user inquiries and requests: Provides technical assistance on PC systems related hardware and software and standard applications.
- Installs and maintains specialized software: Performs setup functions develops associated file structures report formats and input forms; ensures file security; performs data entry to populate associated databases; documents procedures.
- Implements and designs an organizationwide set of standards for the implementation of future and existing information systems.
- Provides oncall support outside of core work hours for unscheduled events or scheduled service interruptions.

Qualifications :
- Must be a US citizen.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security CE CCNA Security GICSP GSEC SSCP etc..
- Five 5 years in a desktop support role or relevant field.
- Technical expertise in PC/server hardware and software installation configuration troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Experience in planning designing organizing and implementing projects with the ability to lead multiple projects and provide technical guidance.
- Experience with SharePointrelated site administration optimization and development.
- Have and maintain a certificate in MS Server 2016 Server 2019 Windows 10 or Microsoft Modern Desktop.
Preferred:
- Active Secret Clearance.
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field with a comprehensive understanding of computer science concepts.
- IAT Level III Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CASP CCNP Security CISA CISSP GCED GCIH etc..
- Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
- Ability to function independently and as a team player in a fastpaced environment.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
- Experience providing quality service and support for missioncritical systems and VIP end users.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
