Job Description

Direct Report

Facilities Supervisor

Principle Responsibilities

Effectively manage operations and assist supervisor in leading team

Assist supervisor with campsite operations including cleaning stocking inventory cleaning and preparation for participants and customers

Assist base camp director with seasonal office and base camp headquarters setup

Ensure the safety use of vehicles and equipment used in your team

Must be able to communicate effectively in person or on a telephone/twoway radio (verbal) in written form (email im text and word) and in person with staff peers guests/customers.

Ensure facilities and equipment are left clean and in good repair by both participants and staff

Power wash sanitize and stock shower houses with toilet paper paper towels soap etc.

Lead team in basic maintenance and cleanliness of campsites and bathhouses

Assist camping director on arrival and departure days

Maintain a clean organized inspected neat and safe work area

Other duties or projects as assigned by SBR leadership

Abide by policies and procedure outlined in the SBR staff handbook

Qualifications & Training

18 years of age or older

Ability to use Microsoft Teams daily for work related communication and coordination

Able to obtain SBR driving permit during orientation

Be or become a registered member of the Boy Scouts of America

Performance Results

Attend shift work on a needed basis

Participate in meetings with Manager for communication and preparedness

Physical Requirements

Up to 8 hours a day of either standing walking driving hiking and the ability to lift 70 lbs.

Can pass the physical exam and approved for SBR height and weight requirements HERE
