We are actively seeking Caregivers/DSPs to provide Community Living & Supports Supported Employment Day Support and Supported Living Services. P/T and F/T hours are available. We have immediate needs in the following areas:

  • Asheboro NC

Responsibilities/Qualifications:

  • Promote client outcomes in behavioral social and vocational realms
  • Assist client participation in leisure/recreational activities
  • Maintain a schedule of services/activities in a treatment plan and report on status of health and safety objectives
  • Provide respite and companionship to offer relief to family or primary caregiver
  • Complete and submit documentation and payroll data according to scheduled deadlines
  • Complete initial and ongoing training and staff development activities
  • Ability to achieve competency in required knowledge skills and abilities
  • Ability to work independently in the community and/or the clients home
  • Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary based on individual client needs
  • Passion and experience working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) is preferred

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid drivers license current automotive insurance and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass criminal record driving record and healthcare registry checks
  • Lifting may be required depending on individual client needs
  • CPR/First Aid Certification Training is provided by company

    Benefits:

    • Eligibility of some benefits are based on hours worked include:

    **$1000 Signing Bonus Details:

    • $333 paid out after working 90 days with an average of 20 hours per week
    • $333 paid out after working 6 months 180 days) with an average of 20 hours per week
    • $334 paid out after working 1 year 365 days) with an average of 20 hours per week
    • Applicant cannot have been employed by Abound Health (or any of our newly acquired companies) in the past 18 months
    • Signing bonus not applicable for Residential Services
    • Employees hired as Relative as Providers (RAPs) are not eligible for the Signing Bonus
