The Town of Marana is seeking a Planning Intern to work in the Development Services Department. This is an exciting opportunity for a handson learning experience in plan review traffic counts inspections and more. This internship offers the opportunity to apply academic knowledge in a professional setting working alongside experienced technical staff.
While the Department will accommodate class schedules or other activities the Intern is expected to work a minimum of 15 hours per weekto be scheduled during normal business hours: MF 8:00 am 5:00pm. The timeframe for the internship is flexible but the anticipated start date is 5/19/2025 and end date is 8/22/2025 (with potential renewal).
Pursuant to the Marana Town Code Sections 312(D) and 313(B) and the current Salary Schedule implemented by the Town Manager the position of Intern is defined as an temporary position. Temporary positions are atwill employees and employment that may be terminated upon the will of the employer or employee at any time with or without cause.
Hiring Rate:
Undergraduate $15.85
Graduate School $16.85
