Principal Finance Manager Advertising Business Development Strategic Finance

The Amazon Ads Finance team seeks a financial professional to partner with the Ads Strategy and Business Development team. You will lead strategic financial initiatives partnership valuations and deal structures for Amazons advertising business.

The person in this high visibility role will be responsible for evaluating a wide range of business opportunities including investments commercial partnerships and strategic alliances. In addition the person in this position will assist in leading due diligence efforts and conduct extensive research on industries potential partners and competitors communicating findings and recommendations to members of Amazons senior management and executive team.

This position plays a key active role on a small team that drives partnerships on Amazon Ads. This person will own the financial analyses that guide decisionmaking among senior business leaders and Business Development teams. This person operates with significant autonomy and independence showing high judgment in decisions that have financial business operational or customer implications. Many assignments will be highly ambiguous and require an independent intellectually curious individual who can frame situations through opportunities through customer business and financial lenses.

10 years of finance technology forecast & budgeting or other financefocused competency experience
Bachelors degree in finance accounting or similar discipline

MBA
3 years in equity research investment banking strategy consulting or corporate business development
Strong communication skills to influence stakeholder decisions
Proven ability to deliver results in fastpaced environments
Strategic thinking with demonstrated business judgment and quantitative skills
Experience evaluating commercial deals and new market opportunities
Track record of building relationships with senior management
Advanced Excel modeling and financial analysis expertise

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $125200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $207000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
