Whats the gist

Were on the hunt for a retail superstar to become our first ever Showroom Manager in Sydney! Youll be an integral part to all things sales and operations at our top secret (hush hush) brand new retail store! Youll be responsible for bringing the Eva brand to real life ! and be at the helm of building our retail team.

No two days will be the same from solving problems in a fastpaced environment to getting your hands right in (were talking running up the street to grab urgent supplies one moment and closing sales the next). As a people person youll have the opportunity to flex your retail management skills within a dynamic and fastpaced directtoconsumer start up. Most importantly youll be able to fuel your passion for interiors and making customers smile.



Requirements

What the role looks like:

  • Manage and take ownership for the day to day retail store sales and operations including ensuring our visual merchandising and unique retail experience is consistent and maintained at a high level and understocking relevant stock takes.
  • Achieve and tracking sales budgets and providing weekly reporting
  • Take the lead on providing exceptional thoughtful customer service and the Eva brand experience
  • Hiring and training our retail team to provide our one of a kind retail experience.
  • Be the point of contact and go to liaison between our Retail team and our Customer Support team at HQ for any customer enquiries.
  • Provide regular insights back to HQ on customer feedback and instore experiences

What you look like:

  • Minimum 2years experience working in retail or sales
  • Experience holding management or leadership roles
  • Strong alignment with our company values of Aim for Better Make It Happen Trust in the Teamwork & Care Like Everyones Watching
  • Passionate about both creating exceptional customer experiences and hitting sales KPI
  • A love for retail and working with customers as a friendly guide for their homes
  • Highly competent in POS software (Shopify a plus) and GSuite apps such as Google Docs Sheets and Gmail
  • Nice to haves:
    • experience working in business with both online and instore channels
    • Strong understanding customer journey and consumer behaviour
  • Must be able to work weekends and public holidays
