FSI Specialist Banking EMEA FSI GTM

The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Worldwide Financial Services team is looking for an experienced Financial Services Specialist (Banking) to join our fastpaced team and help drive AWS adoption in the Financial Services industry in the UK. As a Banking Specialist you will have the opportunity to be part of a team focused on increasing technology adoption of cloud computing by engaging with executives and influencers at all levels. You will work closely with teams across AWS to build relationships with financial institutions from FinTech startups to the largest global financial entities in the world.



Key job responsibilities
Strategically AWS Banking Specialist seeks to understand the needs of Banking customers the overall trends in the industries how customers define success and ensure that we are exceeding expectations in developing and delivering valued industry solutions. Banking Specialist play an active role in developing business cases analyzing project goals creating plans to achieve those goals and then driving the AWS team members stakeholders/SMEs and potentially other thirdparties to achieve those goals while addressing industryspecific challenges.

Tactically AWS Banking Specialist is responsible for planning and leading business development initiatives through their understanding of their customers their solutions and the key solutions vendors and system integrators who deliver those solutions. They leverage their management and leadership capabilities to identify and manage risks resolve issues and escalate where appropriate to drive initiatives to successful completion.

About the team

The Global Financial Services team focuses on the largest FSI customers that typically operate across multiple continents and regulatory jurisdictions. The customers are managed on a global basis you will be responsible for Regional Operating Entities of FSIs or a lineofbusiness as part of a crossfunctional team dedicated to each customer.

Bachelors degree
Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
Experience in developing negotiating and executing business agreements.

Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments or as a practice leader or business unit owner
Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations
