They are currently seeking a skilled MechanicalPlant Engineer to join their team.
The Plant Engineer will be responsible for daily repairs and preventative maintenance of industrial textile processing equipment as well as facility upkeep. Key duties include managing startup and shutdown procedures electrical troubleshooting boiler operations welding hydraulics pneumatics and other mechanical systems. This role is essential to maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring quality standards are met across all areas of laundry production.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Maintain troubleshoot and repair a wide range of commercial laundry equipment including washers dryers ironers boilers extractors presses stackers and other machinery.
Diagnose and resolve electrical mechanical plumbing and steam/thermal system issues. This includes rebuilding and installing pumps valves motors regulators piping systems and other components as needed.
Inspect maintain and repair water treatment and HVAC systems including tanks compressors chemical feed/storage systems UV disinfection systems and related equipment.
Fabricate and modify parts using welding cutting and general fabrication tools.
Perform preventative maintenance tasks including lubrication cleaning painting and regular equipment inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed daily logs and service reports.
Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all mechanical systems strictly adhering to safety procedures and industry standards.
Read and interpret technical manuals blueprints and schematics to support repair and installation work.
Establish and manage an organized inventory system for maintenance supplies parts and materials.
Provide technical training to the laundry team and support ongoing safety awareness and best practices.
Respond to daily maintenance requests to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement of operational processes.
Maintain compliance with all Federal State and local regulations.
Collaborate professionally with team members and supervisors to complete additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of maintenance engineering experience preferably in a laundry or similar industrial operation.
Strong handson knowledge of machinery plumbing hydraulics pneumatics welding boiler operations and electrical systemsespecially 3phase 230volt systems.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently and prioritize repairs in a fastpaced environment.
Familiarity with Lavatec systems and related laundry equipment (dryers folders sorting binding etc. is preferred.
OSHA compliance knowledge and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Ability to shift priorities and adapt to changing demands with a sense of urgency.
Must be a selfstarter with strong initiative a collaborative mindset and pride in highquality work.
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and apply company policies and procedures appropriately.
Physically able to stand for long periods bend stretch reach and stoop as needed throughout the shift.
Spanishspeaking ability is a plus.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelors degree preferred.
Compensation
Targeting salary range: $90000 $120000 depending on experience and qualifications.
