Hi were Oscar. Were hiring a Provider Network Recruiter to join Provider Network Recruiting teams.

About the role

As the Associate Provider Recruiting you will support the network accessibility availability and quality of Oscars Provider Network through the of specific network development responsibilities. You will work in collaboration with multiple internal partners external provider partners to meet market growth network quality and medical costs targets. You will support the provider recruitment engagement and education function within the Network Management pillar of Oscars Insurance Operation function.

You will report to the Senior Director Network Monitoring & Performance.

Work Location:

Oscar is a blended work culture where everyone regardless of work type or location feels connected to their teammates our culture and our mission.

If you live within commutable distance to our New York City office (in Hudson Square) our Tempe office (off the 101 at University Dr) or our Los Angeles office (in Marina Del Rey) you will be expected to come into the office at least two days each week. Otherwise this is a remote / workfromhome role.

Travel Required: Up to 80. Travel required may be to any of the following states; Alabama Arizona Florida Georgia Illinois Indiana Iowa Kansas Michigan Mississippi Missouri North Carolina Nebraska New Jersey Ohio Oklahoma Pennsylvania South Carolina Tennessee Texas Virginia.

Pay Transparency:

The base pay for this role in the states of California Connecticut New Jersey New York and Washington is: $93600 $122850 per year. The base pay for this role in all other locations is: $84240 $110565 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits participation in Oscars unlimited vacation program and annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage available demographic data for current Out of network providers to target recruiting for network adequacy needs based on geography specialty or member demographics.
  • Deploy recruiting activities in defined expansion regions based on population demographics healthcare needs and competitor presence
  • Assess potential provider capabilities workflows and staffing to ensure ability to follow access standards and meet quality of care requirements.
  • Help develop targeted outreach strategies to attract highquality providers in desired specialties and locations.
  • Perform daily outreach and contact with potential providers through phone calls emails and inperson meetings to present the benefits of joining the network.
  • Document provider outreach activities and manage provider data in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Pitch the network to prospective providers and guide new providers through the process of joining the network.
  • Participate in process improvement projects to improve workflows and enhance provider experience.
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree or 4 years of relevant experience
  • 3 years of experience in provider healthcare recruiting and contracting healthcare client management healthcare consulting or a related field
  • 1 years experience in provider relations provider services or provider recruiting and working to increase growth and expansion in one or more geographical areas

Bonus Points

  • Experience in physician recruiting/contracting
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems in a healthcare environment
  • Experience in credentialing function and credentialing software
