Position Summary: Washburn Universitys Greg and Ronda Brenneman School of Business in Topeka Kansas invites applications for a lecturer of management for appointment effective Fall 2025. The appointment is for one year with renewal possible.
Each selected candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to pursuing teaching excellence at Washburn University including a dedication to developing inclusive teaching practices that engage all learners.
The Brenneman School of Business serves more than 600 BBA MBA and MAcc students through its AACSBaccredited programs. In January 2027 the school will move into a newly renovated academic building the $43 million Advisors Excel Hall.
The standard School teaching load for a lecturer is four courses per semester. The school provides robust professional development and research support including financial databases software and generous travel funding. Summer teaching opportunities may be available.

Essential Functions:
Teaching a variety of management and related courses in the BBA and graduate programs.
Advising students.
Commitment to professional and service activities commensurate with AACSB accreditation School and university expectations.
Perform additional jobrelated duties as assigned or as appropriate.
Required Qualifications:
MBA or masters in a closely related field.
Experience teaching management courses.
Evidence of academic and professional qualifications consistent with AACSB accreditation requirements.
Demonstrated dedication to developing inclusive teaching practices that engage all learners.
Official educational transcripts required at time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
PhD in management or closely related field.
Experience teaching various courses in the field of management including human resources organizational behavior international business and a BBA core principles of management course.
Professional experience in management roles.
