Key Responsibilities:
- Transport patients to and from healthcare appointments in a safe timely and professional manner.
- Assist patients in and out of vehicles especially those with limited mobility or using assistive devices such as wheelchairs or walkers.
- Maintain accurate records of transport activity including mileage logs and patient details following company procedures.
- Conduct routine safety checks on assigned vehicle and report maintenance or cleanliness issues as needed.
- Communicate with dispatch or coordinators regarding route updates schedule changes or any concerns during transport.
- Deliver a high level of customer service with patience professionalism and a respectful attitude.
- Adhere to HIPAA and organizational confidentiality policies.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Prior experience in transportation healthcare support or customer service is a plus.
- Ability to assist patients safely including lifting up to 50 lbs when needed.
- Strong communication skills and a professional caring demeanor.
- Familiarity with local area roads and basic navigation tools (GPS) preferred.
Shift:
Day Shift 8 Hours (United States of America)Schedule & Work Environment:
Parttime schedule Monday through Friday
Daytime hours only
No evenings or weekends
Work is performed primarily in a vehicle with frequent stops and physical activity.
