About the Role Engineering Manager Responsibilities Plan coordinate and direct engineering projects from conception through completion ensuring timely and quality delivery. Lead mentor and manage engineering teams including hiring training performance evaluation and career development. Develop and implement engineering processes standards and best practices to improve efficiency and product quality. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams such as product management manufacturing and quality assurance to align technical efforts with business objectives. Manage project budgets resource allocation and timelines ensuring projects stay within scope and cost constraints. Oversee research and development activities to innovate and improve products systems or processes. Ensure technical accuracy and compliance with industry standards safety regulations and company policies. Facilitate communication between technical teams and upper management translating complex technical details into business terms. Resolve technical and operational challenges removing roadblocks to maintain project momentum. Monitor team workload and productivity recommending and implementing training or process improvements as needed. Required Skills Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or a related technical discipline; Masters degree preferred. Significant experience (typically 5 years) in engineering roles with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership position. Strong technical background relevant to the industry (software mechanical civil electrical etc.. Proven ability to lead and motivate engineering teams manage multiple projects and deliver results under deadlines. Excellent project management skills including budgeting scheduling and resource planning. Strong problemsolving analytical and decisionmaking abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders. Familiarity with engineering tools software development lifecycle and quality assurance processes. Desirable Skills Experience with specific engineering tools or software relevant to the industry. Certification in project management or leadership. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the industry. Education Qualification Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or a related technical discipline; Masters degree preferred.
