Key job responsibilities Develop advanced structural demand and econometric frameworks for subscription products and services. Experience with survey methods including survey design sample size calculations weighting and primary data collection. Develop methodologies to align research insights with observed customer behavior (e.g. calibrate conjoint study insights with observed price elasticities) Drive drive test design roadmap to improve demand models (e.g. price elasticity conjoint willingness to pay) and applicability across countries and customer segments Drive crossfunctional collaboration with scientists and regional business leaders to integrate economic insights into strategic decisionmaking processes and shape future initiatives. Drive analytical roadmap and productization of science based insights and tools
Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
PhD in economics or equivalent 5 yrs of relevant broad research science experience after PhD degree or equivalent. Experience in econometrics (e.g. program evaluation forecasting time series panel data or high dimensional problems) economic theory and quantitative methods Experience in building statistical models using R Python STATA or a related software Written and verbal communications skills to convey complicated scientific results to business partners and senior leadership.
Experience with structural demand modeling (e.g. conjoint price elasticity economic choice models) Experience designing implementing and analyzing results of conjoint research studies
