Job Description

Position Title: Customer Support Reservationist

Employment Type: FullTime

Location: Bethlehem PA (OnSite)

# of Positions: 1

Work Days/Hours: MondayFriday 8:30 AM 5:30 PM (OnSite)


Job Description:

TransBridge Tours Inc. is seeking a fulltime Customer Support Reservationist who will play a vital role in our company. This position will need a person with a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills in order to interact with the companys customers by addressing inquiries and resolving issues. This position is based in Bethlehem PA and requires an onsite presence (not remote or hybrid).


About Us:

TransBridge Lines Inc. is a familyowned and operated Lehigh Valley motorcoach company. In its 83nd year the company offers daily service to New York City Newark Airport and Wall Street from the Lehigh Valley area and Clinton New Jersey. Affiliate Company Delaware River Coach Lines operates local transit service between Easton and Phillipsburg under contract with New Jersey Transit. TransBridges Charter Department is available for business groups schools and organizations with customdesigned oneday and overnight trips sporting events shows and special city tours. TransBridge Tours another affiliate company offers OneDay MultiDay and Casino Tours as well as Air & Cruise Vacations. The companies are now in the familys third generation of ownership and management.


Responsibilities:

  • Interact with customers via telephone and inperson to sell make reservations process payments and email documents for TransBridge Tours OneDay MultiDay Casio Tours and for TransBridge Lines Pier Transportation.
  • Interact with customers via telephone and inperson to provide bus schedules prices sell tickets make reservations and process payments for TransBridge Lines Inc.
  • Field customer questions and issues and ensure appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers concerns..
  • Daily cash out report for TransBridge Lines and TransBridge Tours.
  • Knowledge of various computer programs.
  • Open and/or close ticket office as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and neat working area.
  • Follow company policies to ensure the safety of customers and coworkers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and directed by management.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills with customers and coworkers including listening being polite helpful and courteous.
  • Serviceoriented and able to resolve customer issues/concerns.
  • Reliable and responsible.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to learn new software.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous Customer Service experience (phone and inperson) is required.
  • Previous experience making reservations for groups or individuals is required.
  • Travel Industry experience a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Extended periods of sitting and standing.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds.
