Job Description
Job Summary:
The warehouse employee will provide general help to our Nashville warehouse receiving and shipping department as well as drive various delivery trucks to multiple jobs across the metro area as well as some regional deliveries.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This position is a physically demanding position and requires lifting pushing and pulling along with a familiarity with and proficiency in driving a warehouse forklift and driving a 26 box truck. Must possess or be able to acquire a D.O.T. medical card. This is a fulltime position that requires some flexibility in hours. The qualified candidate will be a strong team player will work well under pressure and will be dependable.
The job entails receiving product for a large commercial construction contractor as well as sorting and labeling product depalatizing and palatizing product loading and unloading on and off construction sites driving locally and regionally and organizing pallets of product in both warehouses.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Must possess:
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Up to date drivers license.
- Attention to detail.
- Clean driving record.
- Be a team player.
- Consistently reliable.
- Selfmotivated.
- Ability to lift 50lbs regularly.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in a warehouse environment
