We Require
Three years of responsible clerical and/or administrative experience
High School Diploma or GED
Postsecondary education may substitute for the experience requirement on a yearforyear basis
Must secure and maintain an Arizona Department of Public Safety Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card and complete a background check
Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Arizona drivers license by the time of hire
Within one month of hire all employees will be required to provide evidence of immunity or receive immunizations for vaccinepreventable illnesses for any position within the Maricopa County Department of Public Health; required immunizations include MMR (measles mumps rubella) Tdap (whooping cough and diphtheria) Varicella (chickenpox) and annual Influenza; some positions require a Hepatitis B vaccine and/or a Tuberculosis test

Job Contributions
Schedule and set up meetings and webinars; prepare agendas and handouts; take and transcribe meeting notes; manage correspondence and other needs related to daily events huddles and meetings; anticipate problems associated with scheduling meetings reports and create alternate solutions
Interact and communicate regularly with various other departments within Maricopa County and with external partners
Identify timesensitive emails and calendar invites from county leadership and other key stakeholders and partners
Review calendar and highlights key activities commitments engagements and deliverables to ensure timesensitive requests are completed
Assist with the preparation of presentations reports and other documents containing complex OVR information and data
Serve as support to the Operations Program Coordinator and to the Office of Vital Registration management team and staff. Open/Close the office when needed including assisting with cash drawer reconciliation
Modify/organize/update/maintain vital registration statutes regulations and policies and procedures inventory of forms/supplies and distribute forms to mortuaries the Medical Examiners Office hospitals and midwives. Provide assistance to the public both in person and via telephone for the issuance of birth and death and order office equipment and supplies as necessary
Maintain IT request log and file; interact with IT staff to coordinate move requests computer installations and software installations. Act as a contact for the repair/maintenance of all equipment
Working Conditions
Must be able to participate in emergency response training as scheduled and be available to respond as directed in the event of a public health emergency
Travel to other satellite offices is required
