Sr. Programmer Swiss
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Produces programs for machines to run high volume and R&D orders using EspritCAM software
- Setup experience preferred but not required
- Reads and interprets hard copies and/or computerized drawings and specifications for parts
- Computes dimensions and tolerances. Uses geometric tolerances and interprets and applies those requirements to tooling and production parts
- Inspects completed components using CMM
- Troubleshoots quality problems by effectively utilizing process control and corrective actions
- Have the ability to increase production and streamline setups for optimum efficiency and quality
- Have the ability to trouble quality problems by effectively utilizing process control and corrective actions
- Adherence and support of ISO 13485:2016 quality system requirements
- Selfstarter requiring minimal supervision
- Effective teamwork interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 years of related experience working as a Swiss Programmer or SetUp Machinist preferred
- Experience with Citizen and Tsugami required
- Experience with EspritCAM preferred
- Fundamental understanding quality systems documentation and implementation to ISO Standards such as ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016
- Experience with R&D and NPI is preferred
