Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician Davie FL.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Performs routine maintenance and repairs on structures facilities equipment and other University property in one or more of the trade disciplines e.g. electrical plumbing masonry carpentry locks. Works in the University Work Order system by responding to working and completing assigned tasks.
Performs general maintenance replacement tasks and minor plumbing repairs to restrooms drinking fountains and plumbing fixtures.
Performs minor electrical repair replacement and installation tasks of various electrical components.
Prepares and performs various special projects e.g. painting carpentry plumbing masonry locks.
Performs preventative maintenance inspections on university buildings.
Other work as assigned by Superintendent.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
1 year of appropriate experience.
