Job Description
Make optimal use of available technology to enhance instructional methods.
Supplement and alter where appropriate lesson plans assignments tests and materials. Maintain accurate student records grades and other requirements.
Engage with students proactively and regularly in meaningful and productive ways that impact student learning and lead to a positive experience with Ivy Tech Community College.
Demonstrate evidence of developing and implementing teaching strategies focused on engaging online students with their learning.
Interact with students and coworkers in a professional and cooperative manner complying with College policies guidelines and expectations.
Maintain a safe quality online educational environment.
Must demonstrate the ability to promote an environment that reflects the broad backgrounds represented by our students and employees in which every individual feels respected and valued.

All responsibilities will be conducted within the parameters of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) other applicable regulatory requirements and professional standards.

- Facilitate student learning by delivering assigned classes in accordance with College policy and course objectives.

SUPERVISION GIVEN: None
- Possesses an earned masters degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution in business administration business education public administration management marketing or a business administrationrelated field as appropriate to the program); or
- Possesses an earned related or outoffield masters degree from a regionally accredited institution with documented 18 postsecondary semester /27 quarter credithours or equivalent of courses beyond the introductory principle(s) level in business administration public administration management marketing or a businessadministrationrelated field as appropriate to the program; or
- Possesses an earned related or outoffield masters degree from a regionally accredited institution with documentation in two or more of the following:
- Infield national regional or state professional certification (does not include teaching license or certificate) Threeyears of infield professional employment in the industry (teaching in the area is not considered infield professional employment).
- Documentation of research and publication in the field
- Documented relevant additional coursework beyond the bachelors degree equivalent to 15semester/22 quarter credithours or equivalent subject matter coursework CEUs vendor or military training.
- Possesses an earned bachelors degree from a regionally accredited institution in business administration public administration management marketing or a business administrationrelated field as appropriate to the program with documentation in two or more of the following:
- Professional certification (national regional or state) in business related field (does not to include a teaching license or certificate)
- Threeyears of infield professional employment in business related field(teaching in the area is not considered infield professional employment)
- Documented evidence of teaching excellence including date of award
- Documentation of research and publication in the field
- Documented relevant additional coursework beyond the bachelors degree equivalent to 18 semester hours or equivalent subject matter coursework CEUs vendor or military training.
STARTING SALARY RANGE: $45/contact hour
