Associate Sales Engineer ILocation: Springboro OHFullTimeSchedule: 1st ShiftAbout UsSunstar Engineering Americas (SEA) a highly successful manufacturer of automotive adhesives sealants and coating products is seeking an experienced individual to join our team.About the PositionThe Associate Sales Engineer I is the frontline company representative and is expected to develop relationships with the customers key production engineers and quality management. The Sales Engineer will work with customers to assist in product launch system clean out; manage problem resolution and product performance improvements. The Sales Engineer will Convey relevant business information between the customer and Sunstar including but not limited to: market intelligence project management and customer expectations.Specific Duties & Responsibilities- Track and analyze customer production forecasts and product usage to generate actionable insights.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support planning activities and product launches.
- Use APQP tools to manage customer activities and ensure smooth launches.
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities with existing and new customers.
- Build and maintain relationships with customer decisionmakers and influencers.
- Provide training and support for Sunstar products and processes.
- Deliver timely organized communication and reporting to relevant stakeholders.
- Understand customer practices and metrics to align strategies effectively.
- Support logistics collections and documentation including business trip reports.
Requirements- Bachelors degree in a Science Engineering or Business with 1 year of experience in Automotive Sales or Equivalent combination of education and experience may also be acceptable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products.
- Travel 3075 including day trips and overnight stays near customer sites.
