About the Role
As a Social Campaign Advisor you will collaborate with diverse internal teams to drive successful paid social media performance campaigns in support of the Universitys global reputation student recruitment advocacy research impact and engagement objectives.
Your responsibilities will include the precise and management of campaigns aimed at boosting awareness acquisition and conversion among targeted international audiences. This involves media planning trafficking quality assurance reporting optimisation budget oversight and analysing trends and insights.
To excel in this role youll need comprehensive expertise in platforms like Meta (Facebook Instagram WhatsApp) TikTok LinkedIn and YouTube with a proven ability to execute both native and paid social media campaigns effectively.

Were looking for an experienced Social Campaign Advisor with strong experience in paid social media specifically engaging international markets. You will have the expertise to manage stakeholders effectively provide strategic support and foster strong working relationships. Professionalism and responsiveness are essential in this role.
You may come from a media or social media agency background with proven expertise in managing and executing paid social media campaigns including budget management.

This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an uptodate Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesnt have a valid Working with Children Check they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.

This position is within the Communications and Marketing team under the Advancement Communications and Marketing function of the University led by the VicePresident (Advancement Communications and Marketing). Advancement works with colleagues across the University and its affiliates to facilitate mutually beneficial relationships between the University and its alumni friends and benefactors.
Communications and Marketing formulates and leads strategies in support of the University of Melbournes overarching strategic plan Advancing Melbourne. It fosters a culture of best practice and collaboration across the Universitys marketing functions and uses marketing insights to inform decisionmaking across the University.
