Who We Are
Student Affairs Planning Assessment & Research (SAPAR) is one of 13 departments in the Division of Student Affairs (DSA) at Texas A&M University () and is one of the oldest and largest student affairs assessment offices in the country. Through the 300 assessment projects we conduct annually we lead DSA staff and student organizations in gathering and communicating information making datainformed decisions and improving the student experience. SAPAR actively trains and collaborates with others in the planning and assessment processes to strengthen the Division and the people we serve. Our work is highly interactive with stable but flexible work hours.
What We Want
Student Affairs Planning Assessment & Research is seeking a Student Learning Coordinator with exceptional communication and organizational skills who can contribute to a dynamic collaborative environment. We need someone skilled in structured reflection with students and excited to influence others regarding the value of integrating student reflection within the cocurricular experience. Someone familiar with assessment that engages students captures their depth of learning and application of skills leading to postgraduation success will find this position enriching. As the Student Learning Coordinator works to promote the new Student Affairs Transformation Experience initiative within the DSA we welcome candidates who would like the challenge of helping others within the DSA value this high impact experience recognition program and is comfortable with helping to promote and market designated SATE experiences within the DSA to students and stakeholders outside the DSA. What You Need to Know
Anticipated Start Date: July 1 2025
Salary Range: $55000 $60000/annually (commensurate to selected candidates experience).

Responsibilities
Assessment of Student Learning: Coordinate the assessment of student learning for students involved in high impact experiences in Student Affairs. This could include coordinating implementing and analysis of qualitative and quantitative assessment.
Planning and Implementing Training: Plan develop implement and evaluate training on reflection and student learning assessment tools for advisors supervisors and students. This could include inperson virtual or recorded sessions.
Communication: Communicate learning outcomes results to a variety of audiences in a variety of reporting formats. This could include written reports presentations and data visualization. Create and distribute marketing materials regarding SATE processes and programs including website updates simple info graphics among other marketing mediums.
Liaison: Act as a liaison to departments in the Division of Student Affairs.
Committee Work: Serve on University and Division committees/teams.
Qualifications
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelors degree.
Two years of program administration experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in student affairs higher education or similar.
Assessment experience in student affairs higher education counseling or similar.
Knowledge of Qualtrics SPSS qualitative analysis.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of word processing spreadsheet and database applications.
Verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
