Company:
The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) is looking for a Program Manager Radar/Electronic Warfare Self Protection (EWSP) (Level K). The qualified candidate must have a great working relationship with peers senior leaders and executives using strong collaboration communication and people skills. The position is located in Tukwila WA.
The successful candidate will be detailed oriented biased towards action and proactive in problem solving and coordination.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages employees performing business management activities in the area of Program Management
- Develops and executes project and process plans implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
- Acquires resources for projects and processes provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with suppliers customers stakeholders and peers
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes
- Establishes Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) program goals and establishes a PMBP improvement plan
- Manages develops and motivates employees
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5 years of experience leading through influence and partnering with crossfunctional teams on projects transactions or initiatives
- 3 years of experience in program management of technical programs for aerospace or other engineering business areas
- 3 years of experience in a management role working with both direct reports and business unit leaders
- 3 years of experience with RIO (Risks Issues and Opportunities) processes and tools
- 3 years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors degree or higher
- 5 years of experience managing risks cost performance and schedule performance
- 5 years of experience in program management of technical programs for aerospace or other engineering business areas
- 3 years of experience working with multiple internal and external stakeholders (i.e. business partner customer Finance suppliers) in planning and executing projects
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
Travel: Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally for 20 of the time
