Job Title: DCS Operator
Project: WastetoEnergy (WTE) Facility
Location: Gdask Poland
Job Opportunity: DCS Operator WastetoEnergy Facility in Gdask Poland
We are currently looking for an experienced DCS Operator to support aWastetoEnergy (WTE) plant in Gdask Poland. This is a key role in ensuring continuous and efficient operation of the plant through advanced control systems.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor the Distributed Control System (DCS) to control and optimize waste combustion steam production and energy recovery processes.
Respond to system alarms and upsets and take timely corrective actions to maintain safe plant operation.
Coordinate with field operators maintenance and engineering teams to ensure optimal process performance.
Record and report operational data incidents and routine shift logs.
Support plant startup shutdown and emergency response procedures.
Ensure strict compliance with environmental and safety standards specific to WTE operations.
Assignment Details
Location: Gdask Poland
Start Date: End of April (indicative)
Duration: Approximately 6 months
Work Schedule: Fulltime sitebased
Requirements
Experience operating DCS systems in power plants WTE facilities or industrial thermal processing plants.
Solid understanding of thermal and energy recovery processes preferably with background in combustion systems.
Familiarity with emissions control waste feed systems and steam turbine operation is highly desirable.
Strong safety mindset and working knowledge of HSE regulations.
Good communication and problemsolving skills.
Proficiency in English (minimum B2 CEFR); other languages are an advantage.
Availability from the end of April or shortly after.
