Job Description
- Operate EOT (Electric Overhead Traveling) cranes to lift move and position loads
- Conduct regular inspections of crane equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures
- Communicate with team members to coordinate load movements
- Record and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs
- Perform basic maintenance on crane equipment as needed
- Ensure that loads are securely fastened before lifting or moving
- Assist with other material handling tasks as required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid EOT Crane Operator certification
- At least 2 years of experience operating overhead cranes
- Strong understanding of crane operation and safety protocols
- Ability to read and interpret load charts and diagrams
- Attention to detail and precision in handling loads
- Excellent communication skills
- Physically fit and able to handle the demands of the job
