Event Security Part-Time Crown Complex

The Event Security position is responsible for ensuring the safety and security for all events. Special security assignments may be available during nonevent days/nights. The security team is a provider of direct service to our guests and must always exhibit a professional and courteous demeanor.

This role pays an hourly rate of $45.00.

Located in the heart of Cumberland County the Crown Complex is a stateoftheart fivevenue complex comprised of a 4500seat arena a 9200square foot ballroom a 10880seat coliseum an exposition center with 60000 square feet of unobstructed space and a 2440seat theatre.

The Crown Complex is home to the Fayetteville Marksmen hockey team (SPHL) and Fayetteville Fury indoor soccer team (NISL) and hosts a variety of other sporting events family shows concerts and special productions yearround.

• Respond to requests for assistance from staff and visitors for a variety of security issues (fire medical emergencies etc.
• Performs all event and nonevent security duties as assigned.
• Conducts building safety inspections (Normally preevent and post event safety checks).
• Follow all established security procedures.
• Answers information requests from staff and guests during events or as needed.
• Protects equipment materials and structures throughout the work schedule.
• Provides regular security functions within the Complex and related areas prior to during and after all events.
• Responsible for clean neat appearance with complete CC deputy uniform.
• Turn in all lost and found items to the Event Manager on duty when applicable.
• When requested provide escorts of persons to and from locations within the complex.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the Management.

• Must be an activeduty Cumberland County Deputy.
• Able to work events as assigned.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in the English language required.
• Ability to work beyond traditional business hours including nights weekends and select holidays is required.
• Must demonstrate strong attention to detail.
• Must demonstrate a positive professional and customerfocused attitude.
