Process & Operational Excellence Manufacturing FullTime OnSite
Overview
A leading manufacturer in the wire and materials industry is seeking a handson Process & Operational Excellence Engineer to drive process optimization quality improvement and employee training initiatives. This role supports efficient safe and costeffective production operations while helping to build a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve processes reduce s and optimize equipment and workflows.
- Utilize Six Sigma lean tools and statistical techniques to establish process parameters and control systems.
- Troubleshoot process or equipment issues and lead the resolution and implementation of corrective actions.
- Maintain documentation including design of experiments (DOEs) PPAPs engineering reports and statistical analyses.
- Support a plantwide operational excellence (OpEx) initiative by analyzing data presenting insights and leading process improvement projects.
- Partner with operations HR and safety teams to develop and maintain safe work instructions.
- Ensure effective onboarding and continuous training programs are in place; support supervisorled training evaluations for new hires.
- Contribute to achieving safety quality and operational goals across the facility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 3 5 years of handson process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment; continuous process or wire production experience is a plus.
- At least 3 years of experience developing and delivering effective employee training programs.
- Proficiency in Six Sigma tools and structured problemsolving methodologies; Black Belt certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office and statistical analysis software.
- Excellent communication organizational and analytical skills.
