Job Description

Process & Operational Excellence Manufacturing FullTime OnSite

Overview

A leading manufacturer in the wire and materials industry is seeking a handson Process & Operational Excellence Engineer to drive process optimization quality improvement and employee training initiatives. This role supports efficient safe and costeffective production operations while helping to build a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve processes reduce s and optimize equipment and workflows.
  • Utilize Six Sigma lean tools and statistical techniques to establish process parameters and control systems.
  • Troubleshoot process or equipment issues and lead the resolution and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Maintain documentation including design of experiments (DOEs) PPAPs engineering reports and statistical analyses.
  • Support a plantwide operational excellence (OpEx) initiative by analyzing data presenting insights and leading process improvement projects.
  • Partner with operations HR and safety teams to develop and maintain safe work instructions.
  • Ensure effective onboarding and continuous training programs are in place; support supervisorled training evaluations for new hires.
  • Contribute to achieving safety quality and operational goals across the facility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 3 5 years of handson process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment; continuous process or wire production experience is a plus.
  • At least 3 years of experience developing and delivering effective employee training programs.
  • Proficiency in Six Sigma tools and structured problemsolving methodologies; Black Belt certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office and statistical analysis software.
  • Excellent communication organizational and analytical skills.
