Job Description
Overview: The Talend Snowflake Developer plays a crucial role in driving data integration and management initiatives within the organization. This position requires a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts data migration strategies and ETL processes utilizing Talend to connect with Snowflakes cloudbased data platform. As data becomes increasingly essential for strategic decisionmaking the Talend Snowflake Developer ensures that data pipelines operate smoothly are efficient and provide accurate data for analysis. The role also involves collaborating with data architects analysts and business stakeholders to ascertain data requirements and implement solutions that meet organizational goals. Taking ownership of the endtoend data integration process the developer will enhance the performance scalability and robustness of data applications while continuously seeking opportunities to innovate and optimize datarelated workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and implement ETL processes using Talend.
- Integrate Snowflake data warehousing solutions with existing data pipelines.
- Perform data profiling cleansing and transformation tasks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze data requirements.
- Optimize existing data integration processes for performance and efficiency.
- Monitor data pipeline performance troubleshoot issues and resolve errors.
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
- Document development processes data mappings and integration workflows.
- Implement data migration strategies from various sources to Snowflake.
- Maintain and update Talend jobs to reflect changing business needs.
- Conduct regular audits of data processes to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Support datarelated projects and initiatives across departments.
- Stay updated on Talend and Snowflake enhancements and best practices.
- Engage in code reviews and provide feedback to team members.
- Assist in training junior developers on Talend and Snowflake best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 35 years of experience as a Talend developer.
- 13 years of experience working with Snowflake data platform.
- Proficient in ETL processes and data integration techniques.
- Strong SQL skills for database querying and management.
- Experience in cloud data solutions and architecture.
- Knowledge of data modeling principles and methodologies.
- Handson experience with data profiling and data monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Certification in Talend or Snowflake is a plus.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detailoriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Capability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
