Job Description
Our client a wellestablished electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their team in Evansville IN. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detailoriented and motivated individual to play a key role in delivering accurate and competitive estimates across a wide range of projects.

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects including conceptual designbuild and general tender work.
- Accurately calculate materials labor and equipment costs using project plans specifications and proposals.
- Review project documents to determine material and labor requirements and generate detailed itemized takeoffs.
- Draft and send RFQs to suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
- Use estimating software (e.g. Accubid Classic or Anywhere) to perform precise cost calculations.
- Collaborate with the Estimating Manager to define indirect costs and overheads.
- Support additional tasks and responsibilities aligned with company goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree from a fouryear college or university preferred; equivalent trade experience accepted.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical estimating within the electrical contracting industry.
- Strong understanding of electrical subtrades and scopes of work.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings schematics and P&IDs with confidence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel); experience with Accubid Estimating Software is highly desirable.
- Strong communication organization and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working with various stakeholders including internal teams customers contractors and vendors.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fastpaced environment
