Please note this is a fulltime 37.5 hours/ week) permanent position with a salary range of $84000 $90000 per annum depending on skills and experience.

To be successful in this role you will need to be a selfstarter who is comfortable working within an ambiguous and complex environment. The network engineer role is customer facing providing wired and wireless network connectivity to professional staff academics researchers and students. The network engineer role is a handson role with practical installation and implementation of switches and wireless access points required. Business as Usual (BAU outlet liveningnetwork incident response) activities will predominantly be the core focus with opportunity to work on larger infrastructure projects as they arise.
Once you have obtained suitable local knowledge you will be expected to be included in the oncall roster.
