Job Description
Are your an experienced Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Specialist with a solid background in Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts Robotics Process Automation (RPA) and Machine Learning (ML) models Heres a perfect opportunity in the East Rand Johannesburg.
Duties & Responsibilities
About the Role:
Analyse business requirements advise on and develop optimised BI solutions and visualise results utilising technologies from the MS BI stack. The focus will also be on Robotic Process Automation and integrating ML and generative AI concepts to improve efficiencies in both operational and financial processes.
It Involves:
Guiding business and technical users through the full SDLC define the issue statement business and technical analysis solution design development testing implementation end to end documentation and user support and lead customer interaction sessions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver accurate optimised and time efficient BI solutions aimed at improving business success through the usage of AI & ML technologies.
- Guide business and technical users through the full SDLC (define the issue statement business and technical analysis solution design development testing implementation end to end documentation and user support) and lead customer interaction sessions.
- Use data & data flows to identify areas of business support process improvement.
- Develop technical standards for the BI Department and guide other BI Developers in the implementation and of BI strategies.
- Code reviews and code refactoring.
- Work independently and ensure the timely release of projects.
- Carry out quality assessments of data data reports and the accompanying decisions.
- Offer actiondriven recommendations and insights to Executive Leaders and Managers on the basis of results.
Requirements:
- 7 years experience in Business Intelligence (analytics development and engineering) and a solid background in AI concepts Robotics Process Automation and Machine Learning models
- MS SQL (advanced) SSRS and SSAS
- MS Power Tools (Power BI Power Apps Power Automate and Power Virtual Agents)
- Generative AI concepts & usage
- Usage & implementation of ML models
- Scripting Experience: R Dax and Python
- Web Development: C# HTML CSS and JavaScript
Educational Requirements:
- Matric a BSc Degree (Maths / Statistics)
- MS BI or Data Analytics Certification
