The Senior Manager Technical Solutions is an evolved leadership role that goes beyond managing individual contributor teams you will lead a highperforming organization of Solutions Consultant Managers (SCMs) and Domain Consultant Managers (DCMs) who in turn lead technical presales consultants delivering bestinclass cybersecurity solutions to our customers.
As a technical and strategic leader you will partner with regional sales leadership and crossfunctional teams to drive customer success deepen technical relationships and champion innovation.
Your Impact
- Lead and develop a team of people managers across a defined region (Spain & Portugal)
- Set the strategic vision operational cadence and technical priorities for your organization in alignment with district and regional sales leadership.
- Foster a culture of technical excellence continuous learning and customer obsession within your team.
- Guide your managers in developing innovative technical solutions that address customers critical business imperatives across onpremises cloud and hybrid environments.
- Act as a key player in customer engagements ensuring your leadership team and their consultants deliver value realization and trusted technical advisory services.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management to influence the product roadmap based on customer feedback and realworld insights shared by your team.
- Lead initiatives to nurture attract and retain top technical talent ensuring robust succession planning and career growth opportunities.
- Drive operational excellence by developing scalable processes coaching frameworks and performance metrics for your manager teams.
- Evangelize Palo Alto Networks market leadership and technical innovation to both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications :
Your Experience
- Demonstrated success in leading developing mentoring and hiring people managers with experience managing managers of technical presales or consulting teams.
- Experience managing a quotacarrying technical presales team focused on platform selling; cybersecurity preferred but strong SaaS or enterprise software backgrounds will also be considered.
- Executive presence to act as a trusted partner to senior core and specialist sales leaders contributing to strategic planning business reviews and account strategy sessions.
- Proven ability to execute a technical and systematic sales process applying operational rigor process discipline and performance measurement frameworks.
- Comfortable leading through influence within a matrix environment aligning crossfunctional teams and stakeholders to achieve business outcomes.
- Track record in supporting multimilliondollar complex enterprise sales cycles with handson involvement in technical strategy.
- Full sales cycle understanding from qualification to technical win and postsales including adoption customer success and value realization experience with postsales motion is a strong plus.
- Proven experience building and maintaining strong relationships with Clevel technical decisionmakers driving longterm partnerships and referenceable customer success stories.
- Demonstrated ability to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction across a complex portfolio of accounts contributing to customer retention and growth.
- Location: Madrid preferred (exceptional candidates based in Barcelona will be considered).
- Fluent English and Spanish are a must. Portuguese will be an extra asset.
