Job Description
This is a remote position.
A Pro le Developer within our Retail Bank Technology requires the design coding and testing of software projects with a special focus on the underlying architecture of systems and integration between them. Additionally this individual is expected to lead projects and project teams support junior developers and contribute to best practices. Duties include development in one or more of the following technologies: Mumps Pro le Scripting Language (PSL) SQL.
Essential Functions:

Work with the Development Team Leader and business owners to re ne and clarify project requirements.

Work with the Development Team Leader to help manage tasks and stories.
.
Provide team leadership and proactively seek out areas for improvement.
.
Produce detailed design speci cations from project requirements.
.
Code projects using existing design standards and within accepted defect rate based on speci cation documents.
.
Help gather and provide input to assist in overall team process improvement and product design stability.
.
Properly track issues and resolutions in relation to the development effort using JIRA.
.
Ensure that all code retains logical stability reliability con dentiality and integrity of clients systems in accordance with clients policies procedures and guidelines.
Requirements
Must Have Skills:
1 At least 5 years of professional experience developing on Pro le application (MUMPS and PSL).
a. Please note they are not looking for someone who has just been generating reports in MUMPS. Must be able to write code.
2 At least 5 years of professional experience developing banking software nancial products and nancial reporting features)
3 At least 2 years of professional experience with system design and implementation
4 Tools: GitHub JIRA
5 Expected to work EST hours
6 Must be willing to be oncall rotation which is 95 only for prod incidents which are rare.
7 Must have good communication skills
8 Must be able to pass a background check and credit check
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
1 4 years working on Windows desktop and server applications
2 3 years working with Pro le Scripting Language (PSL)
3 3 years working in an agile environment
4 Unix shell scripting
5 They do have a cloud platform (AWS) so if someone has this it is a bonus.
6 Automated testing skills
FYI:
1 They are on Profile version 6.2. We can accept candidates with older versions.
Must Have Skills: 1 Candidate should be familiar with all aspects of writing PowerBI reports, dashboards. 2 Create a real-time dashboard in PowerBI for Executives 3 Familiar with lap, cubes, RedShift, Terradata, Universes, etc. 4 Experience as a reporting analyst 5 Quick prototyping in PowerBI 6 Expert at visualizations 7 Very good at SQL 8 Excellent Communication Skills 9 Must be able to jump in, no time for hand holding! 10 Must be able to start a week from offer of engagement.
