Job Description
Python Java AWS Infrastructure Linux Kubernetes Hadoop CI/CD Big Data Platform Agile JIRA Confluence Github Gitlab puppet ansible maven virtualization ovirt proxmox vmware Shell /Bash scripting
Due to federal contract requirements United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.
Required:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph.
- Nine 09 years of relevant experience in Platform Engineering or Software Development using Python or Java.
- Possess solid understanding of Linux systems hosts networks security applications and proficiency in Shell /Bash scripting.
- Experience with Kubernetes (or vendor flavors of Kubernetes).
- Experience developing infrastructure in AWS.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Prior experience or familiarity with DISAs Big Data Platform or other Big Data systems (e.g. Clouderas Distribution of Hadoop Hortonworks Data Platform MapR etc.. is a plus.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitlabCI TravisCI etc..
- Understanding of agile software development methodologies and use of standard software development tool suites. (e.g. JIRA Confluence Github Gitlab etc..
- Experience with puppet ansible maven virtualization (ovirt proxmox vmware etc).
$150000 $230000 a year
The pay range for this job with multilevels is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
