Digital Consultants is looking for an Oracle Database Administrator to join our IT Technology Operations division within the NCIS ITD organization in Quantico VA. The Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) is an organization of approximately 2000 personnel of which 700 serve at HQ and the remaining staff serve at offices worldwide. NCIS is the DON component with primary responsibility for criminal investigation law enforcement (LE) counterterrorism (CT) counterintelligence (CI) and cyber matters. NCIS not only has primary responsibility for all criminal investigative CI CT and cyber matters within the DON but it also has exclusive investigative jurisdiction in noncombat matters involving actual potential or suspected criminal terrorism sabotage espionage and subversive activities.

Work Location: Hybrid 3 days Onsite in Quantico VA and 2 days remote.

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Create dynamic web pages using HTML Oracle modplsql Oracle webforms and oracle apex
• Maintain existing Oracle modplsql packages Oracle and webforms and oracle apex
• Create and maintain Oracle tables
• Design and maintain Oracle packages
• Patch Oracle systems as required
• Upgrade Oracle systems as required
• Monitor Oracle environments
• Create and maintain procedures to Create Read and Delete critical data
• Manage data migration to include the migration plan cleansing transformation and testing
• Maintain analytical systems verifies the accuracy of the data and acts as liaison with business
• Maintain security and integrity controls
• Perform data analysis/testing of the results of data migration scripts and stored procedures to verify and validate the successful migration of data from a legacy database to a new database (both Oracle 11g)

• Security Clearance Requirement: Active Top Secret clearance. Must be able to obtain SCI access after hire.
• Required Experience: 5 years of experience in database and data management
• Certification Requirement: CompTIA Security CE (CurrentDoD 8570 IAT Level II)
• Education: BS degree. Additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• Experience with the following:
  • Oracle 18c or higher incl Oracle RAC
  • Strong Oracle SQL PL/SQL and query performance tuning
  • Strong front end Scripting experience JavaScript
  • Strong HTML CSS AJAX and JSON experience
  • Experience with Law Enforcement Data (major plus)
• Experience with Linux based systems hosting Oracle engines
• Experience in a fastpaced environment with aprovenengineering development deployment and maintenance of businesscritical systems to includehandsonsolutions development and implementation experience
• Ability to translate technical issues into understandable business language for end users
• Ability to establish and document new standards for quality performance or productivity

Preferred Skills:

• Database: Oracle PL/SQL RDBMS modeling Data Integrity SQL Developer/TOAD
• OS Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7/8
