Job Description
Position: Package Handler
Evolution Sports Group seeks a motivated and reliable Package Handler to join our team fulltime and permanently. As a Package Handler you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately processing our companys incoming and outgoing packages and shipments.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and sort incoming packages and shipments ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders
Prepare outgoing packages and shipments for delivery including packaging labeling and addressing
Utilize shipping software and equipment to track and process packages
Assist with loading and unloading packages from delivery trucks and organizing them in the warehouse
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
Communicate with team members and delivery drivers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of packages
Follow company procedures and protocols for handling and storing packages
Identify and report any issues or discrepancies with packages or shipments
Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a package handling or warehouse environment preferred
Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds
Familiarity with shipping software and equipment is a plus
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work in a fastpaced and physically demanding environment
Good communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
