General Summary:
Provide excellent user support and customer service on company supported computer applications and platforms. Troubleshoot problems and advise on appropriate action. Provide end user training on computer applications and systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Information Systems Business Communications related field or equivalent certificates
- One to three years relevant technical experience
- Working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software hardware and other equipment (EPIC Office 365 products wireless scanners printers)
- Up to date immunizations as required by MVHC
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Strong critical thinking skills and accuracy
- Knowledge of general office procedures and practices
- Attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
Working Conditions:
- Lifting up to 50 lbs with or without accommodation.
- Carry up to 20 lbs occasionally.
- Standing 12 hours at a time
- Walking approximately 30 minutes per hour throughout the day.
- Frequent stooping bending reaching or grasping for objects
- Manual dexterity
- Withstanding pressure and deals with emergency situations as needed.
- Average working hours with possible nontraditional hours.
- Potential for exposure to blood and body fluids.
- Ability to deal with upset or disgruntled patients in order to deescalate the situation.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provider technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to MVHC workflows computer systems software and hardware.
- Respond to queries in person or over the phone
- Prepare training manuals
- Train computer users for MVHC applications as assigned
- Install modify and repair computer hardware and software
- Run diagnostic programs to resolve issues
- Install computers and peripherals for use
- Follow up with customers to ensure issues have been resolved
- Monitor ticketing system for tickets assigned to the queue and process first in first out based on priority and escalate as necessary
- Utilize and maintain the helpdesk tracking software
- Document internal procedures
- Assist with onboarding of new users
- Install test and configure new workstation peripheral equipment and software
- Maintain inventory labeling and documentation of equipment software and software licenses as assigned
- Creates user accounts for MVHC applications as assigned.
- Weekend oncall rotation
- Other duties as assigned
