Status: Part Time or Full Time
Reports to: Taproom Manager
Salary: $18/hour tips
- Provide outstanding customer service to create a welcoming and memorable guest experience.
- Greet guests with warmth and professionalism; assist with inquiries reservations and concerns.
- Manage seating flow by following rotation guidelines and occupancy limits ensuring a balanced and efficient floor.
- Maintain realtime updates in OpenTable including managing empty and turning tables and promptly notifying servers of new guests.
- Oversee the waitlist during peak times seating guests based on volume availability and party needs.
- Be knowledgeable about food and beverage offeringsincluding new and seasonal releasesto make informed enthusiastic recommendations.
- Process takeout and retail transactions through the Toast system with accuracy including Grubhub and phonein orders.
- Answer and manage incoming calls professionally offering assistance and entering phone orders when needed.
- Replenish retail beer and merchandise throughout the shift to ensure clean organized and wellstocked displays.
- Maintain a clean organized and sanitary host stand and surrounding guest areas with extra attention to hightouch surfaces.
- Communicate effectively with the FOH and BOH teams to ensure a smooth guest flow and service experience.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down events and provide general support to the taproom team as needed.
- Adhere to all safety sanitation and cleanliness guidelines and company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support operations and elevate the guest experience.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Has strong verbal communication skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
- Comfortable taking on tasks as assigned by the hospitality management team to ensure daily Front of House/kitchen operations.
- Be on time for scheduled shifts.
- Available for nights and weekend shifts of 5 hours or more.
- Must have Saturday and/or Sunday and some holiday availability.
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to bend reach twist and use your hands and arms.
- Comfortable using reservation and POS systems (OpenTable DoorDash and Toast experience a plus).
- TIPS certification (Opportunity for completion will be provided if needed)
- Reliable transportation to and from assigned work location.

Night Shift
In a Somerville MA apartment in 2007 when 3 friends began homebrewing beer for friends and family. Their hobby took place after work often stretching late into the night what they called their night shift. Driven by a passion to craft more interesting and flavorful beers than the commercial options available they turned that hobby into something bigger. In 2012 Night Shift Brewing officially launched in a small Everett warehouse setting the foundation for what would become a thriving independent brewery.
Today Night Shift Brewing continues to grow fueled by the same commitment to creativity quality and community. With a dedicated team of hardworking staff the company operates a taproom and brewery in Everett a restaurant and brewery at Lovejoy Wharf in Boston and a handful of seasonal Owls Nest beer gardens. Its portfolio of beverages can be found across the Northeast and beyond. Wormtown
Wormtown Brewery started in 2010 on Park Ave in Worcester MA transforming an old ice cream shop into a small brewery. From the beginning the focus was on crafting great beer while staying true to its hometown roots. With strong support from the local community new recipes were created and refined.
Then came Be Hoppya bold West Coast IPA released at the height of the Hazy New England IPA craze. It stood out from the pack and quickly became a fan favorite.
As word spread so did the brewery. What started as a small Worcester operation grew into two taprooms and a brand recognized across New England. But no matter how far the beer travels the mission remains the same: to craft highquality beer that brings people together with a smile one pint at a time.
