A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As Director of Product Marketing you will be a key business leader and part of the Systems Irvine Business Unit whose product portfolio includes optical systems light sources sensors lens assemblies optics coating and manufacturing services. You will be responsible for the business for the Inspection and Metrology segment including product strategy roadmap sales pipeline and new market growth priority and focus are with key customers and internal stakeholders to develop and lead strategies to maximize growth profit and customer this exciting fast paced role you will report directly to the Sr Director of Products for Systems Irvine Business Unit.
You will make an impact by:
Owning team product and segment business success
Directs the development of company market requirements for MKS Inspection and Metrology market including product strategy definition requirements analysis and pricing
Drive the development of business plans managing lifecycles and product positioning in the marketplace
Reduces broad concepts and business strategies into structured product marketing plans
Conducts market research monitors competitive activity and identifies customer needs
Establishes pricing strategies
Collaborates with engineering operations and sales to enhance existing product(s) or product line(s)
Leads new product definition and business plans with joint departments
Is the technical advisor for specific product(s) assigned
Selects develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
Skills You Bring:
Bachelors Degree required
Masters degree preferred
12 years of related experience
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Perform activities such as sitting standing or typing for extended periods of time
Ability to remain in a stationary position for 70 of the time
Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand
Must be able to exchange accurate information
Operates in a professional office environment
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
Ability to observe documents and details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)
Dedication to safety to mitigate hazards including handling mechanical and electrical hardware high voltage gas water and heat
Noise level in the work environment is usually average
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Pay Range: $175000 to $250000 per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position based on a wide range of factors including qualifications experience and training operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.
Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in an amount to be determined by MKS or as applicable.
