Join Saputo Dairy Australia as av Heavy Diesel Mechanic based out of our workshop in Allansford VIC. This fulltime Monday Friday permanent position offering you the opportunity to play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of milk tanker trucks.
How You Will Make a Difference
- Maintain and repair a fleet of up to 45 heavy and multivehicle combination milk tanker trucks.
- Collaborate with tanker drivers and fleet coordinators.
- Assist with vehicle breakdowns diagnose and repair issues and manage milk flow meters.
- Ensure the safe transfer of milk back to the depot.
About You
- A minimum Certificate III in Mechanical Trade.
- Experience in a similar role within the transport industry particularly with diesel engines hydraulics and electrical systems.
- A current HC/MC drivers license (desirable but not essential).
- Experience with both automatic and manual trucks especially Volvos is highly regarded.
- The ability to work independently handle pressure and maintain high standards for the fleet.
