What youll do

As an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager at Bar 45 in 45 Park Lane you will play a pivotal role in the daily leadership and performance of one of Londons most dynamic and stylish bar experiences. Working closely with the Bar Manager youll support in delivering a seamless operation an engaged team culture and an unforgettable guest journey. In this role you will:

  • Oversee the daytoday running of Bar 45 ensuring excellence in guest service operational efficiency and team performance.
  • Support the Bar Manager in monitoring financial performance controlling costs and driving revenue to achieve and exceed budgeted targets.
  • Lead and inspire the team ensuring a consistent fivestar guest experience aligned with the service and beverage philosophy of 45 Park Lane.
  • Develop and implement systems and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain high levels of efficiency accuracy and quality.
  • Support the recruitment process identifying and selecting team members who embody the spirit of service and innovation that defines 45 Park Lane.
  • Promote a culture of passion creativity and curiosity motivating the team through daily engagement and identifying individual development opportunities.
  • Deliver handson leadership covering operational shifts when needed and maintaining an exceptional standard of personal guest interaction.
  • Handle guest feedback special requests and unexpected challenges with flexibility composure and care ensuring satisfaction at every touchpoint.

Youll be a key figure in the guest experience and the heartbeat of the Bar 45 team helping to lead develop and support a venue that is renowned for its elevated atmosphere and fivestar service.

What youll bring

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a luxury bar highend restaurant or fivestar hotel.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations including cost control service flow and guest experience strategy.
  • Confidence in leading teams inspiring high performance and developing individual talent.
  • Ability to work proactively solve problems and support the overall commercial and service goals of the venue.
  • Strong communication skills and professional fluency in English essential for guest interaction and team collaboration.

Preferred Skillsand Experience

  • Understanding of hospitality financial systems budgets and performance metrics.
  • Knowledge of beverage trends mixology and guest engagement through storytelling and service excellence.
  • Experience implementing or refining SOPs and operational standards in a premium venue.
  • A proactive approach to talent development and team culture building.
