As a member of the InSpace Systems Finance team you will be part of a dedicated group of specialists technicians engineers and program managers. We seek a candidate passionate about safe and repeatable spaceflight who can collaborate with program and finance teams. Your work will involve driving analysis process improvement and reporting to contribute towards critical financial and programmatic decisions that impact space exploration history.

Our InSpace Systems business unit is responsible for developing Blue Origins Blue Ring space mobility platform. We are committed to building sustainable infrastructure to support Blue Origins mission of enabling millions of people to live and work in space.

Security Clearance:

• Active Top Secret (TS) clearance required

Responsibilities:

• Perform financial analysis and reporting to ensure projects adhere to budgets.
• Help build and continuously improve financial models in Excel including scenario and sensitivity analysis.
• Analyze and identify financial data to support InSpace Systems business unit operations.
• Recommend and implement operational improvement measures identify key financial and nonfinancial risks and advise on risk mitigations.
• Create and present content to support program financial and operations reviews.
• Conduct data mining across diverse data sets.
• Perform risk and opportunity analyses and provide potential solutions; work with the InSpace Systems Finance team to develop recovery plans.

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in business finance accounting or an analytical field.
• Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance.
• 2 years of postgraduation financial analysis experience.
• Experience with data mining across diverse data sets.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel including Pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Understanding of underlying business processes and financial impacts.
• Ability to earn trust maintain positive and professional relationships and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (TSSCI) security clearance.
• Master of Business Administration (MBA) or a Masters Degree in Finance.
• Experience with Deltek and COBRA systems.
