As a leading referral centre in Victoria, it offers the chance to practice a wide scope of orthopaedic surgery, including both
elective and trauma services across adult and paediatric populations. You ll work with a supportive network of VMO and staff specialists, while enjoying the benefits of a regional lifestyle in a vibrant coastal city.
About the Role- Provide and supervise high-quality inpatient, outpatient, and peri-operative orthopaedic care
- Contribute to fracture clinics, major joint replacements, and upper/lower limb procedures
- Participate in clinical governance, audits, and Morbidity & Mortality meetings
- Engage in education and training of junior medical staff and interns
- Collaborate with Deakin Rural Clinical School and the Research Unit on innovative projects
What You ll Need- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS)
- Current AHPRA Specialist Registration in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Demonstrated clinical leadership and mentoring experience
- Commitment to quality care, patient safety, and teamwork
