Job Summary
Academic Success Coach assists students in developing skills behaviors and habits that contribute to success in college. Academic Success Coaches provides guidance encouragement and practical strategies to help students with varying backgrounds to excel academically and make the most of their college experience. This position will provide individualized and small group instruction to augment students strategic learning skills in college. This posting is being used to hire 13 positions.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience: Position requires a AA/AS degree plus a minimum of two years full time teaching or experience providing instructional support or assisting students with individualized assistance in reading writing communication and/or learning strategies in a college setting or an equivalent combination of education and experience that enables performance of all aspects of the position. Must have the ability to use Academic Coaching best practices and appropriate materials for delivering coaching strategies and interventions to learners. Requires excellent human relations problemsolving accountability and excellent written oral and technological communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working at the college level is preferred.
