Key Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Program Manager this position is a key contributor to our organizations diving operations. Individuals filling the Diving Assistant Program Manager position may also serve as the Assistant Program Manager for various operational response teams depending on the size of the response effort. As an essential team member you will be involved in diverse operational activities such as managing and maintaining U.S. Navy Diver Life Support System (DLSS) equipment overseeing specialized operations and coordinating multiple sites and overseas organizations. Your role will be instrumental in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of diving operations. Collaborating seamlessly within our team you will be pivotal in ensuring compliance with regulations and enhancing the overall operational performance. Major Activities Performed:
Serve as the Assistant Program Manager for various operational response teams.
Manage and maintain U.S. Navy Diver Life Support System (DLSS) equipment including portable afloat and shorebased surface supplied diving systems recompression chamber systems saturation systems ANU equipment diver handling equipment and diver tools.
Lead manage and direct specialized operations and maintenance techniques for DLSS in accordance with Preventative Maintenance System (PMS) and various U.S. Navy technical manuals and specifications.
Ensure compliance with the U.S. Navy Dive Manual U.S. Navy General Specification for Diving and Manned Hyperbaric Systems and U.S. Navy Diving and Manned Hyperbaric Systems Safety Certification Manual.
Oversee the development of new diving equipment and modifications of existing diving equipment in accordance with U.S. Navy specifications and safety certification manuals.
Demonstrate thorough understanding and experience in financial management and negotiations for supplies and services.
Lead and manage diverse groups of specialists including Government contractor and subcontractor personnel into highperformance operational units.
Direct field operations including administrative procurement contractual financial and logistics functions.
Ensure effective and efficient management of complex operations involving diving and life support systems including operational staffs and subcontractors.
Participate in field and contingency operations involving financial management subcontract management and negotiations for supplies and services.
Oversee and coordinate multiple sites and overseas organizations simultaneously.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Minimum:
Must hold or be eligible for DoD personal security clearance at the SECRET level.
Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge and expertise in the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of U.S. Navy Diver Life Support System (DLSS) equipment including portable afloat and shorebased surface supplied diving systems recompression chamber systems saturation systems ANU equipment diver handling equipment and diver tools.
Demonstrated ability to lead manage and direct specialized operations and maintenance techniques for DLSS in accordance with Preventative Maintenance System (PMS) and various U.S. Navy technical manuals and specifications.
Demonstrated experience in the management of the development of new diving equipment and modifications of existing diving equipment in accordance with U.S. Navy specifications and safety certification manuals.
