PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Effect the efficient operation of food service routines and practices associated with a busy food service operation and smoothly run office with the accurate recording reconciliation and reporting of the Chartwells capital and noncapital fixed assets.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education/Other Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Proof of typing >40 WP
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Strong organizational communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills
Accurate typing and tenkey skills proficiency with computer applications such as spreadsheets and word processing
Ability to prioritize be flexible and able to adjust easily to changes in daily routine while meeting deadlines
Knowledge of food service practices
Basic knowledge of the procurement process
Basic math and problem solving skills
Excellent reading and grammatical skills
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Suite
High level of accuracy and attention to fine details
Ability to work together with other employees as part of a team
Work Conditions:
Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals
Posture: Prolonged sitting; occasional bending/stooping pushing/pulling and twisting
Motion: Repetitive hand motions including prolonged keyboarding & use of mouse; occasional reaching
Lifting: Occasional lifting and carrying (less than 50 pounds)
Environment: Work with frequent interruptions; maintain professional demeanor under stress; occasional prolonged or irregular hours; frequent in district travel
Regular attendance is an essential function.
Minimum Experience:
Three or more years in general clerical responsibilities
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
WORKING HOURS PER DAY:
8 hr day/ 8:00am 5:00pm with a 1 hour lunch
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Job duties and assignment are subject to change according to the needs of the District as determined by the Director and Assistant Director of Child Nutrition.
EVALUATION: Performance of this job may be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Boards policy on evaluation.
