We are currently seeking an analytical methodical and detailorientedManagement Accountant to join our Finance Team. This is an immersive handson role that requires a proactive cando attitude and a strong willingness to take initiative.

Heres a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:
- Youll be a proactive strong and collaborative Finance Business Partner for key areas of our business
- Assisting in the preparation of month end accounts including interrogation of account codes to provide analyses to our teams; this includes profit and loss analysis balance sheet preparation and cashflow analysis
- Expertly providing accurate financial reporting to our internal and external stakeholders
- Ensuring the highest standards of routine accounting control and operating processes for example in stock accounting and monitor operation of these processes
- Providing forwardlooking financial and operational information to your business partners supporting their decision making alongside great financial and commercial insight
- Preparing annual budgets and strategic plans and assisting in the compilation of aggregated budget and production of the budget pack
- Understanding and identifying the key drivers within your business areas including the impact of changes in levels on performance the integration of this into forecasts and assistance in preparation of this key data
- Ideally youre experienced in preparing and filing VAT returns alongside detailed analysis for our Corporation Tax submissions with a working knowledge of UK GAAP and International accounting standards
- Interacting with our guests always warm professional helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way
The kind of person were looking for:
- Youre already a Qualified Accountant (CA ACCA CIMA or equivalent) or QBE with strong hospitality experience and a good working knowledge of our key systems; Micros Symphony Opera and Excel
- Organisation and prioritisation are two of your strongest skills; youre also supremely reliable and ensure every job is completed to the highest standards consistently
- Naturally inquisitive youre able to corroborate information across a variety of sources and driven to understand the underlying key drivers of a business
- You have the ability to view information from a variety of stakeholder perspectives and present this concisely and professionally
- Enthusiastic and socially adept youll have the confidence to build relationships seamlessly both internally and externally
- Eager to be handson in the role proactive and fully involved you also have a huge appetite to learn and develop
- Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; youre passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
- You have a positive can do attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
- A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; youre well organised and punctual
- You want to be part of a team that works hard supports each other and above all has fun along the way
