Job Description
6am4:30 MondayFriday with overtime on Saturday
Clamps holds tack welds grinds and bolts components to position for welding
Examine workpieces for defects and measure workpieces for straightedges or templates to ensure conformance
Measure dimensions
Develop templates and models for welding projects using mathematical calculations based on blueprint information
Layout fits nozzles supports and couplings per blueprint into coil
Use grinders hand files and sers to remove rough spots
Operate forklift and overhead crane
Read Blueprints
Strong mathematic skills
Ability to read level tapes protractors
Pass ASME Code Section 8 Welding test 2 schedule 160 carbon 6G pipe test. GTAW (TIG) all the way out
